PBI® XT, formerly known as GEMINI™ XT, is a premium structural firefighting outer shell combining PBI® and para-aramid fibers. Its reinforced filament yarn structure is engineered to provide strength, abrasion resistance, thermal stability, and a recognizable rip-stop appearance while supporting comfort and ease of movement.
PBI® XT combines two established high-performance fiber technologies in a reinforced outer shell construction engineered for the thermal and physical demands of structural firefighting.
Filament yarns reinforced with blended PBI® yarns provide strength and abrasion resistance for demanding structural firefighting environments.
The fiber system combines PBI® with high-strength para-aramid fibers to support thermal performance, strength, and durability.
A high-strength filament grid creates PBI® XT's traditional rip-stop appearance while helping the outer shell withstand abrasion in the field.
