Honoring the Departments That Protect Their Communities

For the third year in a row, Ricochet Gear is proud to stand behind volunteer fire departments in support of Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes Fund.

In 2026, the Regional Gear Giveaway focuses on departments across New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania—delivering critical protective gear to the crews and communities who need it most.

Supported by Streamlight and Milliken, this initiative is built to provide trusted protection on the front lines while advancing a mission that honors first responders, supports their families, and strengthens the communities they serve.

2026 Highlights

Focused across four states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania
3 winning departments will receive 10 sets of gear each
Third year of impact, with previous winners already serving in their new gear

Who Can Enter

Your department is eligible if you are:

Volunteer or combination fire departments
Located in MD, DE, NJ, PA

How to Enter

Follow Ricochet Gear from your department’s official account on Facebook or Instagram
Complete the online application form when entries open
Submit before the deadline

Multiple submissions are allowed, but only one entry per department will be counted.

Key Dates:

Giveaway Opens: May 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM EST

Giveaway Closes: May 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST
