The Ricochet National Non-PFAS Gear Giveaway is open to fire departments and fire districts located within the United States, where permitted by law. Volunteer and municipal departments are treated equally.
Entries may be submitted by any individual on behalf of a department or district. However, only one entry per department or district will be counted during the Contest Period. Multiple submissions for the same department or district will not increase the chances of winning.
Employees of Ricochet Manufacturing Company, LLC and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, as well as immediate family and household members of each such employee, are not eligible.

Participation in the Contest constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.
The Contest begins on June 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM ET and ends on June 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET. Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified. Entries will be accepted via the designated contest landing page.
On or before July 15, 2026, or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable upon receipt of all required documentation from selected entrants, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
Six departments or districts will each receive five sets of Ricochet Non-PFAS structural firefighting gear from the Maverick package.
Potential winners will be required to complete, sign, and return a Declaration of Compliance within five days, provide a valid tax identification number, and execute any required documentation, including publicity and prize acceptance forms.
As a condition of receiving the prize, the winning department or district agrees to provide reasonable promotional materials requested by the Sponsor, including photos, video, and/or testimonials, and participate in reasonable follow-up requests regarding the use and performance of the gear at approximately six months and twelve months after the gear has been placed into service.
Failure to comply within the required timeframe may result in disqualification. Winners will be publicly announced in July 2026 only after all required documentation has been fully executed by both the Sponsor and the winning department or district. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8–12 weeks after final confirmation, subject to specification, sizing, and production requirements.
By accepting a prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Sponsor, including providing photos, video, testimonials, and feedback featuring the department or district and the awarded gear.
Winners grant the Sponsor the right to use the department or district name, likeness, submitted content, and related materials for promotional, marketing, advertising, and public relations purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be violating these Official Rules, attempting to manipulate or disrupt the entry process, or using unauthorized or automated entry methods. If the Contest is terminated early, Sponsor may select winners from eligible entries received prior to termination. Sponsor reserves the right not to award all prizes if insufficient eligible entries are received.
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The Released Parties are not responsible for technical failures, system errors, lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, unauthorized intervention or fraud, errors in administration of the Contest or announcement of winners, or any injury, loss, or damage related to participation or prize usage.
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the appropriate state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. These Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
